ABOUT
Dear Supporters of Roper Football:
The last two months have indeed been a whirlwind for our coaches and the student-athletes associated with the Will Rogers Football Program as we prepare for the 2014-2015 football season. At the same time, I think everyone should know how incredibly excited I am to have the opportunity to coach this team. Our players share my enthusiasm. We are moving forward smoothly as we transition toward our fall season which begins with the TPS All City Preview and the kickoff of the 2014 football season. I want all of you to know that we have a talented and eager football team. The foundation of this program has been laid. We're not walking into a rebuilding situation. Of course, everything will be a process as the current 3A Class landscape is incredibly competitive, with an impressive and accomplished collection of teams, coaches and student-athletes. But the support that this Program will receive from Will Rogers and our TPS family will provide advantages that will help us maneuver through any challenges. Our staff and athletes look forward to learning from the teams and leaders who have come before us. There are plenty of road maps to success at Rogers College High I am confident that our team will handle the current transition with class and dignity. Our culture will breed high expectations on the field, in the classroom and in the community. We expect to compete for District and State championships. We will coach student-athletes who strive to be the best on the field and off, and throughout their lives. We will make a positive impact in the community. We will develop leaders. We will make you proud to be a Will Rogers Roper. As a part of the Roper Program, you play an important role in our success! I want to take a moment to thank the entire Will Rogers Staff, students, alumni, Family and friends. There is probably no other activity on campus that receives such widespread support, and we sincerely appreciate it. We want you to enjoy our games and to be proud of your team. Those of you who are close to the team know that our goals are really no different than those of any other student organization on campus. When we compete, we want to compete at the highest levels. We want to represent this great high School at the same level on Friday Nights, and your continued encouragement supplies a major boost. I am proud and honored to have this opportunity to lead the Will Rogers Football Program into the next stage of its very rich tradition. From all of our players, coaches and staff, we offer our sincere appreciation for the support you continue to show the Will Rogers Ropers. We look forward to an exciting future and to seeing you again this season!
